OSB "Future Shock" Career Day 2011

You are cordially invited to the 7th annual "Future Shock" Career Day sponsored by the Oklahoma School for the Blind Parent Teacher Organization
and the Oklahoma School for the Blind on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. on the OSB Campus, 3300 Gibson Street, in Muskogee.
We target a specific group of students and offer a different approach to informing these young adults about the career
opportunities that are available to them. This one of a kind educational experience is designed for the blind and visually
impaired students across the state of Oklahoma, their families, teachers of the visually impaired and other interested individuals.

One unique feature is that the majority of our speakers are blind and visually impaired. These speakers have achieved the success and
independence the students at OSB, as well as blind and visually impaired individuals are wanting for themselves. We have colleges and
universities from across the state in our information center to answer questions about the courses they have to offer. Several local
companies, as well as companies from Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, New Jersey, California, and Florida, who employ blind and visually impaired
individuals, are on campus and eager to share their knowledge. We look forward to sharing this wonderful day with you.
