Recreation

Students may visit the Panthers' Den, a snack bar/recreation center where they may relax with their fellow students and participate in supervised recreational activities. Recreation staff provide organized activities such as trips to the local skating rink, movies, swimming, Girl Scouts, and community events. Activities in the recreation center include games, crafts, pool, foosball, air hockey, table shuffleboard, bumper pool, Nintendo and a large screen TV for movies and TV. Emphasis is on fun with voluntary participation. There are also outdoor playgrounds, a track, and a ball field offering outdoor activities.

Campus Life

OSB provides full residential services for students during the week and transportation for homegoing on weekends. Room, board and educational services are provided at no cost to eligible students.

Day students receive the same educational services at no charge, but they generally go home at the end of the school day.

Planned recreational and leisure-time activities include student organization events, cheerleading, and interscholastic athletics. OSB wrestlers participate in competitions sponsored by Oklahoma public schools and wrestlers and cheerleaders compete in events sponsored by the South Central Association of Schools for the Blind.
